§a. Definitions and Terms
MarketSavvy.net (”Market Savvy” or “the Web Site”) provides the following policies regarding the privacy of its visitors, users, subscribers, or other parties accessing the Web Site (collectively, “Users”). For the purpose of this document, Affiliates shall be defined as partners, companies, or individuals with which Market Savvy does business (”Affiliates”), and Third Parties shall be defined as agencies, corporations, or other entities not owned by Market Savvy or its Affiliates (”Third Parties”). Services shall be defined as any product or service Market Savvy provides to its Users, including but not limited to training sessions, webinars, seminars, electronic trading systems, subscriptions, or any other such service that Market Savvy provides to its Users for a fee or otherwise. Furthermore, sensitive information shall be defined as credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates, medical records, social security numbers, dates of birth, or any other personal information that may be considered critical to a User’s financial stability, health or medical records, family history, or personal identity. This document, in its entirety, represents the privacy policies (”Privacy Policies”) of Market Savvy.
§b. Agreement
By using the Market Savvy Web site and/or by being a Market Savvy User, you provide consent to Market Savvy and its affiliates the collection and utilization of personal information that you provide by accessing the Web site or explicitly providing information to Market Savvy. Continued use of the Web Site and/or Services implies that you agree, as a Market Savvy User, with the terms of the Market Savvy Privacy Policies.
§c. Personal & Sensitive Information
Market Savvy may collect and utilize the personal information that it receives, with the consent of its Users as specified in §b., direct or indirect, by any means, and including but not limited to, Users accessing the Web Site, Users specifically providing their information to Market Savvy via e-mail, telephone, mail, or other means of communication, or Third Parties providing personal information to Market Savvy, for the purpose of providing services, marketing and advertising, or any other process Market Savvy may find beneficial for its business, customers, or affiliates. Market Savvy will not provide, sell, or otherwise distribute the personal information of its Users to any Third Parties except as specified in §d (below). Any collected personal information is stored securely, although Market Savvy cannot be held liable for any illicitly obtained personal information should the Web Site, its servers or its storage facilities become compromised through illegal means. Market Savvy does not store sensitive personal information such as credit card numbers for a duration exceeding 24 hours for security reasons; Market Savvy seeks to avoid any such situation where your information may be obtained by a Third Party or illegitimate entity unintentionally.
§d. Cookies
Market Savvy does store cookies on its Users’ computers. These cookies — small data files that help the Web Site to identify its Users — do not contain sensitive information. They are used simply to identify and remember basic information regarding Market Savvy Users for the convenience of these Users. Market Savvy Users may disable cookies, but some Market Savvy features may not function without cookies. Market Savvy recommends enabling cookies to ensure ease of use and access to all Market Savvy online features. In addition, Market Savvy may use cookies to provide targeted advertisements through Third Parties or its affiliates. §e. Enforcement & Disputes
In the event that any of the Market Savvy Users find their personal information in breach of these Privacy Policies, they may contact legal@marketsavvy.net via e-mail to express their concerns or identify said privacy policy breaches in order for Market Savvy to be aware of and resolve any such breaches or disputes.
§f. Policy Updates
Market Savvy reserves the right to update or modify, without prior consent or notification, the Privacy Policies documented herein. Market Savvy does not expect to frequently or dramatically change these policies, although such changes may become necessary. Market Savvy may provide notifications on its Web site to inform its Users of changes in its Privacy Policies, but these notifications will be made at the discretion of Market Savvy and are not necessarily mandatory as part of the Privacy Policies.
